CONTACT's Rape Care program has been serving survivors of sexual assault since 1998. Our center is designated by the State of New Jersey to provide rape care services to Burlington County survivors and their loved ones, age 12 and older. The assault may have occurred recently or in the past. CONTACT's 24-hour Helpline is the point of entry to rape care and sexual assault services. Trained Rape Care Advocates provide hospital and/or legal accompaniments. Ongoing telephone support and specialized sexual assault crisis counseling is also available to victims, family members and significant others. Call our 24/7 Crisis Helpline at 856-234-8888 and ask to speak with a Rape Care Advocate. All services are free and confidential. Advocacy: CONTACT’s trained Rape Care Advocates provide supportive phone counseling to survivors and their loved ones. They also provide accompaniments to Burlington County hospitals, police stations and courts. We can be there throughout the entire medical and legal process. Counseling: We provide short-term individual counseling to survivors 12 years of age and older and their loved ones. We will provide counseling regardless if the assault happened today, a week ago or 30 years ago. Outreach and Education: CONTACT’s Rape Care Program staff provides outreach and education to any Burlington County school, community group, agency and corporations. Presentations are available on sexual assault, sexual violence prevention, date rape drugs and sexual harassment. Presentations can be modified to suit the needs of your group.
